Team and Family Plans

Sundown supports individual, family, and team plans.

What your plan covers

Think of your Sundown plan as the account boundary for billing, membership, and shared settings.

  • An individual plan has one member.
  • Family and team plans let you invite other members.
  • Family and team membership does not automatically share everyone's personal journal timeline.

How sync works

Sundown keeps each member's capture flow simple. Plan and membership changes sync through the account in the background, while device-local settings stay on the device that owns them.

Inviting members

  1. Open Settings > Account Access.
  2. Tap Team Members.
  3. Tap Invite Member and enter their email.

Roles

  • Admin: manage billing, invite or remove members, and change shared plan settings.
  • Member: use the plan, capture notes, and access the features available to that plan.

Shared versus personal settings

  • Shared plan settings: note templates, export settings, and AI model selection.
  • Device-local settings: audio retention settings and notification times.

When you open Settings > Account & Access, Sundown keeps the current page interactive and refreshes plan details in the background.
